Tone on the picture of the TV show “Madmen” shows two sides that are very different and as we look straight down the in middle we can see two different tones between left and right. On the right side we can see a very dark tone and the men wearing one color suit that matches the background. On the left side we would see a lighter tone and the women wearing colorful clothing. The tone of the image gives off a faded look to indicate the people and the era they are in.
For the color of the picture we can see again that the separation between dark and white as a way to show to the viewers that the men have different lives than those of women. The men shows more of a business type where there is no room for excitement and all their work are all concentrated on a corporate standard. The left side of the image shows a brighter color and the women in different color clothing shows more of a glamorous lifestyle than the men’s on the right.
